For owners considering responsible breeding, our breeding match connects intact dogs by breed, size, health status, and location. Every dog listed must be intact and up to date on vaccinations. Reach out directly to other owners through our secure inquiry system.

Mutt Mates is a connection platform — we don't supervise meetings, evaluate users or dogs, or guarantee the identity, health, temperament, or compatibility of any person or dog. Here's how to stay safe:
Meet in public first
Choose a neutral, public location like a dog park or open field for your first meeting. Avoid private homes or enclosed spaces until you've built trust.
Keep dogs on leash initially
Even if both dogs are friendly, start on leash and allow a gradual introduction. Watch body language and give each dog space to feel comfortable.
Verify health information
Ask about vaccination status, recent vet visits, and any known health conditions before meeting. Responsible owners are happy to share this information.
Trust your instincts
If something feels off — about the owner, the dog, or the situation — it's okay to cancel or leave. Your safety and your dog's safety always come first.
You are responsible for your dog
Maintain proper control and supervision of your dog at all times. Interactions between dogs involve real risks including bites, injuries, and illness.
